Mobile Blog

Not sure why I have not just combined that blog with this one, but I haven't. Maybe I will at some point, but for now I have a mobile blog, for things I think of/see on the go. You can find it here:

Cleveland Cavaliers

Well, tomorrow is game 5 in the Cavs/Magic series. Cleveland can be closed out and an end put to its best season in franchise history. I am very bummed about this. I hope that maybe they can keep the series going one more game. But I have my doubts. It is part of being a Cleveland fan for so long.

I just have one hope. I hope (pray) that the fans in attendance at tomorrow's game treat the team right. The Cavs just ran into a team that they just don't match up well against. A rare occurance this year. Regardless of the outcome, this team deserves praise and cheers all night long, and the best energy the crowd can give, regardless of the score. I have been to, and seen, many Cleveland teams play, and unfortunatley, I have also seen the crowd turn on the team. I saw it in person when Derrick Anderson got hurt in a game a couple of years ago, and the fans cheered. I saw it on television a few years ago, when the best thing to happen to Cleveland since Jim Brown, LeBron James, was booed at a Cavs game. I really hope that nothing like that happens. If it does, Cleveland fans deserve whatever happens in the future.

Amazon's Gold Box

I hate the thing. It seems like every time I see something I am remotely interested in, I have mere moments to decide if I want to purchase it. Forget looking up reviews or other helpful purchasing info on the net. If you do that, it will be gone. For example, there was just a game up for the 360. It looked fun, but I was not sure, so I went to look up the reviews for the game at a couple of sites. The reviews were generally positive, so I decided to go ahead and purchase the game. My research could not have taken more than 5-10 minutes, yet I returned to amazon only to find that all of the discounts had been claimed! Damn them. I mean I am kind of glad. I did not need to buy another game, and it probably saved me $25 bucks, but now I have this nagging feeling that I missed out on a really good deal. And it just means that the next deal I see will be bought immediately with no research into whether or not it is worth it. BTW, it won't be.

Email Test

I am testing this out to see if I can post to my blog via email. If this works, it could really help me keep up with this blogging thing. Typing an email looks a hell of a lot more like work than having an internet page open. ;-)
